A Green Juice A Day, Keeps The Doctor Away

If you look at any item in the supermarket besides fresh produce, you’ll find sugar as an ingredient.  Sugar contributes to obesity, type II diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and more.  One way to end this problem would be to add fresh vegetable juice to your diet. The key is to prepare the juices yourself or from a real juice bar.  Unfortunately brands like Naked, Minute Maid and Odwalla are processed and don’t have any real nutrients.  These juices are made from artifical chemicals and sugar.  

Fresh vegetable juices are loaded with vitamins, minerals and enzymes, which will nourish and heal your body.  Take for example bestselling author, Kris Carr.  Carr was suffering from stage 4 cancer and was able to completely heal herself by consuming a planted base diet.  There are many studies that show people were able to reverse diseases and illnesses by going plant based and drinking fresh green juice.  

Now if you love food as much as we do, we all know its not realistic for most people to live on a plant based diet.  But replacing your breakfast or lunch with a green juice has many great benefits.

Green Goddess Recipe (one of our favorites):

  • 2 green apples (stablizies blood sugar)
  • 1 inch of ginger
  • 6 large stalks celery (calcium)
  • 1 cucumber (minimizes joint swelling and strengthens bones)
  • 1 bunch of parsley (iron boost)
  • 1 bunch of kale (increases vascularity)
  • 1/2 lemon (improves skin tone)
